Evenflo pivot modular travel system
The evenflo Pivot modular travel system is ideal for new parents. It includes two essential items: a stroller, and a car-seat. The stroller and car seats can be combined to make this a very convenient modular system.
What’s the evenflo Pivot Modular Transport System?
The evenflo Modular Travel System, which is a combination of a car seat and a stroller, can be used in many ways. You can attach the stroller seat to the base in either forward or rear-facing positions and it can also recline. The same seat can recline all the ways back to position it as a bassinet. This allows a baby or nappy child to get some ZZZs in complete comfort. You can also remove the seat and attach the car seat to the frame. This allows you to make quick trips to the park or mall.
You can use the stroller seat with children as young as 4 years old, and up to 6 years old. You can weigh up to 50 lbs.
Setting up the evenflo Pivot Modular Transport System
This stroller was easy to set up. Everything came in one big bag. You can take the bag out, open the stroller and attach the front and back wheels. For now, I placed the car seat with its base on the side. Although the manual provided instructions on attaching the canopy to the bumper bar, the child tray and child tray were already included in the box. It was much easier than I expected. After I had my stroller seat and base assembled, I added the bumper bar to the base and cupholder.
The stroller was assembled in less than 15 minutes.
Using evenflo Pivot Modular Travel System
The stroller seat can be placed in either a front or rear facing position, as noted. Push the stroller seat onto the mounts on the base until it clicks. Pull the strap at its back to adjust the position.
It was a little difficult to figure out how to turn the seat into a bassinet. It’s not clear in the manual so I found a YouTube video. It turns out that the little lever at the top is what you use to recline the stroller seat. Pull the strap at your back and undock the buckle near the stroller seat. Now, recline and voila! This is a handy bassinet. This is not the type of bassinet that you can use outside the stroller. Once it’s pulled off the base it won’t sit securely enough to hold a child or baby. It’s great to have the option of a bassinet within one stroller seat instead of needing another seat as with other stroller systems. You can remove the seat by pressing down on both the buttons on each side and lifting it up. You can clip the car seat onto the stroller base the same way in either forward-facing or rear-facing modes. Pull up on the lever located at the rear of the car seat to release it. This lever is also included in this package.
The shoulder straps are designed to be worn over baby’s arms and attach into the buckle on either side. This makes it easy for baby to get in and out. As you would expect with any stroller they can be adjusted to fit your baby comfortably and securely.
The stroller seat cannot be placed on top of the car seat. It shouldn’t be a problem, considering how simple it is to take the stroller seat off and put the car seat on.
Summary of the evenflo Pivot Modular Travel System
This stroller is sleek and practical, with handy features such as the built-in bassinet, snack tray and cupholder, beautiful material, Cruiser tires and an oversized undercarriage basket. It’s a great stroller that new parents will be able use from birth through toddlerhood.
It could be folded up neater and there would have been a strap to help you carry it once folded. It would be nice to have the ability to place the car seat on top of the stroller seat, but that isn’t essential.
